Floyd Mayweather Jr. weighed in at 146 pounds for his fight against Robert Guerrero for the vacant RING welterweight title on Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Guerrero weighed in at the limit of 147.
Mayweather hasn’t fought at 147 pounds since he stopped Victor Ortiz in four rounds on Sept. 17, 2011. He outpoined Miguel Cotto at junior middleweight on May 5 of last year.
In undercard fights, WBC featherweight beltholder Daniel Ponce de Leon weighed 126 for his title defense against Abner Mares. Mares, a former two-division titleholder, also weighed 126.
And Leo Santa Cruz weighed 122 for his junior featherweight fight against Alexander Munoz, who weighed 121.
