Even Alexander Povetkin, who holds the WBA’s “regular” heavyweight title, considers Wladimir Klitschko to be the real champ, and most of the fans who took part in a recent RingTV.com poll believe that Klitschko will keep his crown when the two Olympic gold medalists fight on Saturday.
A little more than half of the 3,000 votes (58.6 percent) chose Klitschko (60-3, 51 knockouts) to log his 52nd knockout against Povetkin (26-0, 18 KOs). Klitschko by decision garnered 28.2 percent of the votes.
Nine percent of the votes selected Povetkin to win by KO. Only three percent of the votes went to Povetkin by decision.
