RING middleweight champ Sergio Martinez received 30.1 percent of the votes. RING welterweight and junior middleweight champ Floyd Mayweather, who scored unanimous decisions over both Cotto and Alvarez, received 10.5 percent of the votes.
Junior middleweight standouts Austin Trout, who beat Cotto last December, Alfredo Angulo and Erislandy Lara each received less than 5 percent of the votes.
