Following Tim Bradley’s split-decision victory over Juan Manuel Marquez, RingTV.com asked fans who they would like to see the undefeated WBO welterweight titleholder fight next. The overwhelming choice of fans who took part in a recent poll was the Manny Pacquiao-Brandon Rios winner.
Almost half of the 8,400 votes (49.7 percent) went to whoever wins next month’s Pacquiao-Rios showdown in Macau. Bradley won a controversial split decision over Pacquiao last June, taking the Filipino legend’s WBO title. Rios, a former lightweight titleholder and current 140-pound contender, is one of the most exciting sluggers in the fight game.
THE RING welterweight champ, Floyd Mayweather, received 23.2 percent of the votes. The winner of the WBA 147-pound title bout between unbeaten beltholder Adrien Broner and hard-punching contender Marcos Maidana, scheduled for Dec. 7, received 16.7 percent of the votes.
