HBO to air Tyson, 24/7 before Ward-Rodriguez on Saturday

 

HBO will air a 90-minute monologue by former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, followed by the second episode of the 24/7 dedicated to the Nov. 23 fight between Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios, and finally the live telecast of super middleweight champion Andre Ward against Edwin Rodriguez on Saturday night, according to a release by the network.

The programming will begin at 8 p.m. ET/PT with Mike Tyson: The Undisputed Truth, a 90-minute documentary directed by Spike Lee during which the 47-year-old fighter chronicles his life while speaking before a live audience in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Starting at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT will be the second episode of 24/7: Pacquio-Rios, in advance of their 147-pound battle in Macau. 

At 10 p.m. ET/PT, Tyson will serve as co-host to HBO’s Jim Lampley as they call the title matchup between Ward and Rodriguez from Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif.
