A 26-year-old San Diego resident with a mark of 18-0 that includes 14 knockouts, Orozco will pursue his seventh consecutive knockout victory at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif.
Huerta (27-11-1, 18 KOs) is a loser of three of his past four bouts heading into the clash with Orozco, who was last in the ring for a third-round stoppage of Ivan Hernandez in August.
On the undercard, former junior middleweight titleholder Cornelius Bundrage (32-5, 19 KOs) will face once-beaten southpaw Joey Hernandez (23-1-1, 13 KOs) in an IBF eliminator for the right to face titleholder Carlos Molina.
Last month, Golden Boy won the purse bid with $11,000 for the right to promote Bundrage-Hernandez. In his last bout in February, Bunderage was dethroned as IBF beltholder following a majority decision loss to Ishe Smith, who lost to Molina by split decision in September.
Hernandez has won three of his past five fights by knockout and is coming off a unanimous decision win over James Winchester in November of 2012.
