RING, WBA and WBC junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia will return to the ring on March 15 on Showtime against an opponent and at a site to be determined, Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer confirmed in an e-mail to RingTV.com on Monday.
No other details — such as whether Garcia will be defending his 140-pound titles or moving up to welterweight — were available.
In his last bout, Garcia (27-0, 16 knockouts) scored a unanimous decision over Lucas Matthysse in the co-featured bout to the Floyd Mayweather-Canelo Alvarez fight last September.

BRANDON GONZALEZ TO FACE MAXIM VLASOV IN IBF 168-POUND ELIMINATOR
A deal has been reached for super middleweights Brandon Gonzales (18-0, 10 KOs) to meet Maxim Vlasov (28-1, 14 KOs) in an IBF elminator bout for the right to face titleholder Carl Froch, according to promoter Gary Shaw.
"James Prince is his manager, and I'm dealing with James," said Shaw. "We just made a deal for Brandon Gonzales to fight for the No. 1 mandatory in the IBF. We're still negotiating."
Shaw said he expects for a purse bid for the bout to be held "about 10 days from now."
