Negotiations are ongoing for heavyweights Tomasz Adamek and Artur Szpilka to meet on Nov. 8 in Krakow, Poland, according to Szpilka’s promoter, Leon Margules.
The 37-year-old Adamek (49-3, 29 knockouts), who is promoted by Main Events, was last in action in March when he lost a unanimous decision to unbeaten Vyacheslav Glazkov. Szpilka (16-1, 12 KOs), 25, hopes to rebound from a 10th-round stoppage to undefeated Bryant Jennings.
Margules also promotes polish WBC cruiserweight titleholder Krzysztof Wlodarczyk, who will make his seventh defense on Sept. 27 against Russian Grigory Drozd in Moscow.
Margules also said the Wlodarczyk-Drozd card will feature WBA cruiserweight beltholder Denis Lebedev of Russia in a defense against Pawel Kolodziej of Poland.
