UK promoter Frank Warren, who looks after Scottish ace Burns, is reportedly ready to re-open negotiations with Fana following news that the 37-year-old’s fight against Argenis Mendez has collapsed due to a financial dispute. Burns, 28, already is booked to fight on July 16 in Liverpool but his opponent hasn’t been determined. Don’t rule out a unification showdown with two-time champ Fana, or even a tasty scrap between Burns and Mendez, 24, who is currently training in England.
