Schaefer, who represents Hopkins, said his client wants to fight Dawson in September or October. Hopkins, 46, became the oldest man ever to win a major title when he outpointed Canadian Jean Pascal before a large crowd on May 21 in Montreal. Pascal could be on the Hopkins-Dawson undercard, which is the reason it might land in Canada. Dawson bounced back from his upset loss to Pascal by easily outpointing Adrian Diaconu on the Hopkins-Pascal undercard. |
