Former 147-pound beltholder Andre Berto says a rematch with Victor Ortiz is a priority.

Dethroned WBC welterweight beltholder Andre Berto told a media source this week that his top priority is getting a rematch with the only person to beat him, Victor Ortiz. He also says he expects to fight again soon.

"I think they are working on something, so I will be back as soon as possible," Berto told Percy Crawford of FightHype.com. "Everybody who watched the fight says the same things: I didn't perform like I usually perform and up to my ability.

"Whether I won or not, it still ended up being an exciting fight, and maybe one of the Fights of the Year," he added. "I believe people will be looking forward to se how I come back from this adversity."
