Khan and Brook trade barbs on Twitter

Khan and Brook engage in war of Tweets.

Amir Khan has been called out by English welterweight prospect Kell Brook in another Twitter war of words involving the WBA junior welterweight holder.

Shortly before Brook secured a convincing, unanimous points victory over 39-year-old South African, Lovemore N’dou on Saturday, compatriot Khan suggested in a stinging post that the rising Sheffield star was seriously overrated.

"Kell brook is fighting a guy who has lost a lot of fights, @PaulMalignaggibeat twice 140lbs. If they say brook is good. Test him with a genuine 147lb top 15 not even top 10 fighter. #allhype, " read the Khan Tweet.

On Sunday morning, Brook, 25, responded in equally forthright fashion, insisting he would be ready and waiting for Khan when he steps up to welterweight next year and taunting him over Sky television's lack of interest in showing his July 23 title clash against IBF beltholder Zab Judah live in the UK.

"@AmirKingKhandon't talk rubbish if you want it you can have it your chin can't stand up to my power and you know this!! when you step up to 147 I'll have a belt waiting for you, " said Brook's Tweet.

"P.s we could also probably get you back on SKY."
