Wladimir Klitschko withdraws from his Dec. 10 bout due to abdominal issues

Earlier today, it was announced that Wladimir Klitschko would have to withdraw from his Dec. title defense against Jean-Marc Mormeck, after abdominal troubles briefly hospitalized the RING champion.

However, Klitschko’s representative Klaus-Peter Dittrich informed RingTV.com this morning that a rescheduled date of March 3 is being eyed.

As previously reported, the proposed date for the Vitali Klitschko-David Haye bout is also March 3, which suggests that a Klitschko double header is in the works.

Allegedly, the rescheduled date is simply hinging on approval by the IBF, before it can be confirmed.
