Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao once fought on the same night in the same building.

Whether or not Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will ever meet in the ring is among boxing's greatest  questions.

But as noted by Ryan Maquiñana of Comcast SportsNet, they once shared the same ring on the same night more than a decade ago..

The date was November 10, 2001. The venue was the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Franciso.

Pacquiao battled to a technical draw with junior featherweight counterpart Agapito Sanchez, after which Mayweather knocked out Jesus Chavez in the ninth round of their junior lightweight clash.
