Cotto-Alvarez being negotiated?

RingTV.com has learned that a junior middleweight unification bout between WBA junior middleweight beltholder Miguel Cotto  and WBC counter part Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is being negotiated.

Alvarez, of Mexico, has been considered as a potential rival for WBC welterweight beltholder Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Cotto, of Puerto Ricio, one for WBO welterweight titleholder Manny Pacquiao.
