Ward, wife welcome birth of newest child

RING super middleweight champion Andre Ward's fourth child, Micah, was born on Thursday.

RING, WBA, WBC super middleweight champion Andre Ward and his wife, Tiffiney Ward, are celebrating the birth of their fourth child, Micah "Champ" Ward.

Born Thursday morning, June 21, Champ weighed eight pounds and 10 ounces.

"It is with great joy that we share the arrival of our son," the couple said in a statement. "We thank God that we are all healthy.  We are enjoying this moment with our family and are happy to share the good news with our boxing family too!"

Mother and baby are both doing great and the whole family is excited to welcome the newest addition. The couple has three older children, Andre Ward, Jr., 11, Malachi Ward, nine, and Amira Lecian Ward, four.
