The Sergio Martinez-Julio Cesar Chavez press tour could begin taking shape on Tuesday.

Plans will begin being formulated on Tuesday for a press tour to promote the HBO Pay Per View-televised clash between RING middleweight champion Sergio Martinez and WBC titleholder Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. that is slated for the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Sept. 15.

Martinez, 37, is 49-2-2 with 28 knockouts, and Chavez, 26, is 46-0-1 with 32 stoppages.

"I'm meeting with Top Rank this afternoon," said Martinez's promoter, Lou DiBella, referring to Top Rank CEO Bob Arum. "We're planning the press tour and all sorts of stuff."
