Lightweight prospect Luis Ramos will headline a Fox Sports Net-televised card against Noe Bolanos on Sept. 8. Undefeated lightweight prospect Luis Ramos Jr. will headline a Fox Sports Net/Fox Deportes-televised card against Mexican spoiler Noe Bolanos on Sept. 8 at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, Calif., RingTV.com has learned. Ramos (22-0, 9 knockouts), a 24-year-old southpaw from Santa Ana, Calif., is coming off a decision victory over former 130-pound title challenger Daniel Attah in April and a hard-fought 10-round unanimous decision over RING-rated lightweight Raymundo Beltran in January. Bolanos (24-6-1, 16 KOs), a 25-year-old veteran from Sonora, Mexico, is coming off a fourth-round TKO loss to Ivan Alvarez in June. Prior to that loss, the former prospect, who began his career with 19 straight victories, won four bouts in a row, including a fifth-round stoppage of once-beaten Gilberto Gonzalez. |
