Tim Bradley is being considered for a rematch with Lamont Peterson. Top Rank CEO Bob Arum is considering a rematch between WBO welterweight titleholder Tim Bradley and IBF junior welterweight beltholder Lamont Peterson, whose lone setback was by unanimous decision to Bradley as 140-pounders in December of 2009. Although Arum and Bradley's manager, Cameron Dunkin, had informed RingTV.com earlier this month were that they were targeting the fighter for a Feb. 9 return to the ring likely at the MGM Grand, Arum said on Tuesday that he had spoken to Peterson's manager and trainer, Barry Hunter, about a potential return bout in March. "We're going to see if we can arrange for Bradley and Peterson in March," said Arum, adding that he has been in touch with Hunter. "We haven't gotten as far as [determining a location,] but maybe Las Vegas." Bradley (29-0, 12 knockouts) is coming off June's split-decision for his current belt over Manny Pacquiao, who chose to face Juan Manuel Marquez for the fourth time on Dec. 8 and was knocked out in the sixth round by Marquez. Peterson (30-1-1, 15 KOs) is 3-0-1 with two knockouts since falling to Bradley, and is coming off a split-decision which dethroned Amir Khan last December. Peterson has been ordered to defend his belt against mandatory challenger Kendall Holt, whose promoter, Gary Shaw , has offered up $50,000 to win Tuesday's purse bid and the right to promote a bout between Peterson and Holt.
