RING/WBC flyweight champ Roman Gonzalez and WBA middleweight titleholder Gennady Golovkin advanced in THE RING’s pound for pound rankings after the boxer-punchers extended their unbeaten records with knockouts against Edgar Sosa and Willie Monroe Jr.
HBO will replay eight bouts featuring the network’s premier fighters over the course of four days starting tonight. The fight will highlight victories by Sergey Kovalev, Gennady Golovkin, Manny Pacquiao, Wladimir Klitschko, Juan Manuel Marquez and Terence Crawford.
The HBO-televised David Lemieux-Gabriel Rosado middleweight fight on Saturday at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center isn’t a huge event but it should be a very good fight and could lead the winner to major showdowns against the stars of the 160-pound division.
