There wasn’t much movement in THE RING’s divisional ratings this week. Apart from the Arthur Abraham-Robert Stieglitz rematch, it was a slow weekend of boxing. Stieglitz advanced to No. 4 in the super middleweight rankings with his TKO of Abraham.
Super middleweight contender George Groves will appear on the undercard of the Arthur Abraham-Robert Stieglitz rematch on Saturday in Germany. Ivan Morales, the undefeated younger brother of Erik Morales, will fight on the Saul Alvarez-Austin Trout undercard on April 20.
RING heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will return to EPIX for a May 4 defense against Francesco Pianeta. The fight will follow a string of notable Europe-based world title bouts on the U.S. network.
