Andre Ward had no trouble making weight for his super middleweight title defense against Edwin Rodriguez, despite being inactive for the last 14 months, tipping the scales at 167.8 pounds. Rodriguez, however, weighed 170 pounds, two pounds over the division limit. (Video added to blog item.)

Tim Bradley weighed in at a ripped-and-ready looking 146 pounds for his Saturday WBO welterweight title defense against Juan Manuel Marquez on Friday in Las Vegas. Marquez weighed in at lean and muscular 144.5 pounds.
