The attorney for Yuriorkis Gamboa claims that the fighter's contract with co-promoters Arena Box and Top Rank is invalid and has filed for dismissal from from Top Rank's lawsuit for breach of contract.
Top Rank president Todd duBoef was miffed that Yuriorkis Gamboa skipped the second press conference, in L.A. on Tuesday, announcing the April 14 fight with Brandon Rios, but would not call the bout off or speculate on a replacement for Gamboa.
Yuriokis Gamboa says he won't sign to fight Brandon Rios unless he's comfortable with the deal, but the dynamic undefeated featherweight would not go into specifics.
