Canadian welterweight standout Antonin Decarie made his first fight of 2012 a significant one by stopping previously unbeaten Alex Perez in the sixth round of the opening bout of a Boxing After Dark broadcast from Mashantucket, Conn., on Saturday.
Long overshadowed by Canadian stars like Bute, Pascal, Diaconu and Stevenson, welterweight contender Antonin Decarie will finally get his own primetime showcase on Boxing After Dark.
