RING super middleweight champion Andre Ward on his decision to vacate the WBC's "Champion Emeritus" title: "I think the fans know and appreciate that I am the super middleweight champion of the world, and I trust that I will continue to be recognized as such."

Andre Ward spoke to RingTV.com about rehabbing his shoulder injury, fighting in September, doing HBO commentary for the Chad Dawson-Adonis Stevenson fight, a potential showdown with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., fighting in the UK, and making a documentary of his time away from the ring. 

RING and WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward said he plans to return to the ring in September, and mentioned former WBC middleweight titleholder Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. as a potential opponent.
