Carl Froch’s super middleweight title unification bout with rival Mikkel Kessler at the O2 Arena in London on May 25 will mark Sky’s return to pay-per-view boxing for the first time since the David Haye-Wladimir Klitschko debacle.

Carl Froch’s promoters have been “inundated” with thousands of requests for tickets for his rematch with super-middleweight rival Mikkel Kessler, although the date, venue and pay-per-view terms have not yet been finalized.

Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler will fight for a second time – in the UK later this year – with the date and venue to be announced next week, promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed on Tuesday.
