Andre Ward: "My sparring partner stopped me and he said, 'You're bleeding.' I said, 'Wow, I'm bleeding?' So I ran over to the corner, and Virg looked at it...So Virg basically said, 'It's bad.'"

Following the postponement of his Oct. 29 fight against Carl Froch due to an injury sustained in sparring, Andre Ward's team is in talks to set a new date.

The fight between Andre Ward and Carl Froch has been postponed because of a cut over Ward’s right eye, according to Dan Goossen, Ward’s promoter.
