Heavyweight Tomasz Adamek said that he will be a "different" fighter for his Dec. 22 rematch with Steve Cunningham, whom he defeated by split-decision as a cruiserweight four years ago.

Steve Cunningham's rematch with Tomasz Adamek represents his second fight in the heavyweight division.

Tomasz Adamek will face Steve Cunningham in December, nearly four years to the day from when he vanquished Cuningham by split-decision when they were cruiserweights.

Former Ring cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham will make his first appearance as a heavyweight on the undercard of a Sept. 8 main event matching Tomasz Adamek and Travis Walker.

Former cruiserweight beltholder Steve Cunningham, who recently signed with Main Events, willl likely make his heavyweight debut in September. 

Steve Cunningham: "I have defeated all reigning cruiserweight champions, and I will clinch another victory on Saturday night. The weapons are oiled and I am ready to go to war."
